Road & Sewer Construction
We undertake the construction of new roads & sewers on all of our projects. Often we are appointed as main contractor temporarily to allow site establishment including forming temporary roads, allowing for road openings and forming site compounds and associated infrastructure.
We will liaise with the relevant Local Authority both directly and in conjunction with main contractor to ensure all specifications, approvals and adoption are met.
Sewers and drainage work range from deep drainage excavations with large diameter concrete pipes to shallow drainage using UPVC and or Fireclay Pipe. All associated works are undertaken including manhole, headwall and pumping station construction.
We have also completed many specialist drainage alterations and diversions including the installation of HPPE pipe for rising mains and associated works.
All work is carried out to a high standard and within safe working conditions.
Plotworks
Eastway Construction specialises in foundation construction and can complete many different types including standard strip foundations, trench fill, Pile Cap & Ground Beam, raft and pad foundations
We also carry out preparatory works for piling contractors such as formation of pile platform's and pile cropping upon completion of piling work.
We undertake the full solum construction including drainage and service installation, concrete floor slab preparation and construction. If required we can also complete sub structure block construction.
Engineering
Technology has rapidly improved over the last 10 - 15 years and our technical staff is fully up to date with the latest setting out instruments. Our experienced engineers and site management ensure a cost effective, accurate and efficient level of works on site.
Earthworks
Bulk earthworks can be one of the Major operations on-site and we make sure we have the plant facilities ready and available to undertake large scale cut and fill exercises as and when required.
Water Attenuation
Water Attenuation has become much more prevalent in construction in recent years since the introduction of SUDS (Sustainable Underground Drainage Systems).
Eastway can undertake the installation of attenuation ponds, modular storage tanks, Hydrobrake installation and all associated works on any site where required.
Hard Landscaping and Block Paving
Eastway Construction Ltd can complete all types of hard landscaping to footpaths and any larger trafficked area.
From tarmacadam road and footpath surfacing to pre-cast porous and non-porous block paving together with all types of decorative kerbing and paving.
Services
Eastway can undertake all service track installation together with all ducting and road crossings as required. We can also liaise & work with the relevant utilities company complete the installation of the required services.
Street Lighting
We offer a full street lighting installation service to our clients. Working from specifications we can complete a full supply and fit service on new projects and liaise with the local authority until tested and adopted.
