About Us
Eastway Construction Ltd was formed in December 1994 by Robert Turnbull. Having trained as a civil engineer then subsequently working as a setting out engineer throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, Robert decided after long conversations with his father to resign his position and start working for himself.
In the companies early years Eastway undertook groundwork projects for Dundas, Fife Regional council and Bryant Homes.
As the housing market grew in the 90s the company tendered for and secured larger contracts, completing various projects for Major house builders such as: Miller Homes, Carronvale homes & Stewart Milne Homes.
In reaction to the construction industry the company began to diversify and tender for and secure commercial & public contracts working for clients such as: Morrison Construction, Interserve Projects and Morgan Sindall.
The company has now established itself firmly in the main construction sectors, in turn producing a highly skilled workforce which is able to work to a high standard in all contracts that we undertake.
The company is based in Dalgety Bay, with the bulk of the workforce also being based in Fife - we are perfectly equipped to work efficiently throughout the central belt.
Our Management and Technical staff have over 80 years of combined experience, gained through a broad range of construction industry disciplines.
Robert is still actively involved in the day to day running of the company in his capacity as Managing Director.
